That I Would Be Happier Here
When I start my own business in 2020 I first concentrat on my website only to realize that I didn t ne Facebook Instagram and Co. to win enough customers. That suit me because I don t particularly like social mia. The mium entails a certain fast pace and superficiality which as an introvert doesn t suit me. Also it s a lot of work to be active every day to post or to share stories to even get notic. My time is currently too valuable for that. What advice do you have for other self employ people who struggle with social mia.
Has Always Worked Best
From my point of view two aspects play a role here Firstly which marketing channels suit me personally Am I for example someone who likes to speak well even in front of the camera Then I might feel comfortable on YouTube or Saint Helena Email List start a podcast. If I prefer to write a blog combin with email marketing can be a great way to reach people. I believe authenticity is super important in marketing and people can sense immiately if my communication isn t consistent if I m uncomfortable or playing a role that doesn t suit me. Therefore I recommend solo entrepreneurs to only use the mia that they enjoy anything else will not work in the long term.
Me in My Newsletter and Not
The second important question I have to ask myself as a freelancer Where can I find my customers If I can reach them through other marketing channels I can do without social mia. In principle of course it makes sense to use all DV Leads platforms on which my target group is active. However this is hardly possible for the self employ so I would rather concentrate on two or three channels and they do really well for that. How do you manage to reach enough people and win new customers even without social mia Most inquiries come through my website.
